This has to be one of the catchiest tune around ... I think it's about Samba :) and I like dancing ... no doubts here ... would love to start some classes ... be a super way to sweat and have fun (seeing as the best all over workout has not featured in my existence for the longest time ever *ehehhe*)

I guess I better get cracking and find me some classes or something ... am bored stiff outta my brains and work is making me less and less creative as a person ... *SIGH* - not good, not good at all ...

Hey, I have been taking Latin and Ballroom classes for the last 6 years and I tell you it is tremendous fun and great exercise too! Go take it up. If you can get one or two of your frens to take it up w u, then it wld be a blast!
The problem in these classes are the lack of men. The women normally outnumber them 4:1. So if u can, get a guy in to partner u. Otherwise I am sure there are some in d school.
Take Latin first. It comprises the Cha-Cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba and the Paso Doble. These are dances where a permanent partner is not required unlike the ballroom dances.
Go! Go! ave fun now! Life is too short not to have a ball with it!

yeah the plan is to con some friends into going along. have heard about the shortage of men usually ... dunno if I have the gumption to start dancing with a total stranger *eek* but fingers crossed I shall start soon :)

Yes, initially u'll feel odd dancing with a total stranger and holding hands and all that. When you get over that, it's hell lot of fun!
ok LLT ... I'll take your advice, and give it a shot ahah once I start (lord knows when) will most certainly blog about the experience :))
